ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - You may have seen ghost bikes on highways here in New Mexico.

They are bicycles that are painted white and often set up at a spot where someone riding one has been killed, but now one has been stolen.

APD says Dwen Devenny took the bike.

He was spotted riding a bicycle down Indian School Road Wednesday and police say he was carrying Matt Trujillo’s ghost bike.

Trujillo was hit at the intersection of Washington Street and Indian School Road last May.
