ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A dangerous gang member believed to be in the Silver City area has been added to the list of most-wanted gang offenders, the U.S. Marshals Service announced Thursday.
Nathan Rowland "routinely carries a firearm and is considered armed and extremely dangerous," the Marshals Service said in a statement released to the news media.
The marshals described Rowland, 31, as a known gang member who frequents Silver City and Bayard in Grant County.
He's also on the state Department of Corrections most-wanted list and is wanted for absconding from probation. Other outstanding charges include drug possession, aggravated assault on a household member and larceny of a firearm, according to marshals.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Marshals Service in Albuquerque at (505) 346-6400 or in Las Cruces at (575) 527-6850.
A complete listing of wanted gang, sex and violent offenders can be found on the U.S. Marshals Service website.
