ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A former Albuquerque police officer busted for driving drunk and damaging her ex-husband's car is back behind bars.
April Sanchez, 31, turned herself in last Tuesday after the corrections department said she failed an alcohol test, which is a violation of her probation.
Sanchez had been on probation since October.
She originally faced nearly two years behind bars for two DWI’s and a number of other charges, including keying her ex-husband's SUV and smashing the window with a rock.
Sanchez is now at MDC on a no-bond hold.
