Former NM officer indicted

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Bosque Farms police officer, whose home was raided last spring, has now been charged with seven counts of tampering with public records.

Leslie Lopez is accused of taking documents from her department.

The indictment says those documents include her internal affairs file, DWI checkpoint plans, citizen complaints against the department, gas receipts and applications for citizen ride alongs.

Lopez mentioned in April that she had filed a sexual discrimination complaint against the department over her wages.

She has since resigned from the force.
