Former corrections officer arrested

DEMING, N.M. (KRQE) - A former Luna County Detention Center officer charged with molesting a family member has been taken into custody by the Luna County Sheriff's Office.
The Deming Headlight ( http://bit.ly/y4NNBQ ) reports 30-year-old Roy Lewis of Silver City was arrested Monday evening in Clifton, Ariz., by on a warrant for kidnapping, assault and criminal sexual contact with a minor.
Lewis is being held on a $350,000 cash only bond.
The charges relate to incidents that allegedly occurred between April 2006 and Jan. 2007.
The Luna County Sheriff's Office took on the case Jan. 22 when they spoke with the family members.
