Fire raging in downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque firefighters are battling a blaze at 2nd Street and Marble Avenue NW that is blanketing part of downtown in smoke.

An Albuquerque Fire Department spokesman could only confirm a structure was on fire but did not identify it.  The fire was reported shortly before 11 p.m.

Electricity also is reported to have been knocked out in the area.
