ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Carlos Fierro is set to walk out of prison Wednesday after serving less than four years in prison for vehicular homicide in the drunken-driving death of a pedestrian.
In 2008 Fierro was driving drunk when he struck and killed William Tenorio who was crossing Guadalupe Street.
Fierro was sentenced to serve seven years in prison back in 2009, but has so far served less than four.
Last week Fierro made the news for a more flattering reason after he was credited for saving a man’s life. Fierro was on a prison work crew where he saw a driver having a medical issue and administered CPR to the man until paramedics arrived.
