ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The FBI in Albuquerque has released photos of a bank robber wanted for 10 heists in at least five states including New Mexico.
Agents have dubbed the man the Bayou Bandit and said he typically enters the bank carrying a bag and produces a note demanding money. The note and money then go into the bag.
He is believed to be responsible for 10 bank robberies since March in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Mexico.
Witnesses described the Anglo man as 40-50 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and being of medium to average build.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to his arrest.
