ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police have arrested the man accused of robbing a Family Dollar store at knife point.

Matias Martinez, 27, allegedly went to the Dollar Store on San Mateo in Northeast Albuquerque on Nov. 11, where he told the cashier to give him all the money while holding a knife.

Employees say Martinez came into the store quite frequently and had him on video.

An employee from a nearby gas station recognized the suspect from photos and identified the suspect.

Police arrested Martinez at his home Friday.

He appeared in court Saturday where he was charged with robbery with a deadline weapon.  He is in jail on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
