ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A Water Utility Authority worker is in trouble, accused of going to a local drug store in a government truck and trying to pass off a phony prescription.
Dominic Cordova, 32, was in court Saturday morning, charged with forging a prescription.
Police say a Walgreens employee questioned the prescription on Thursday for oxycodone.
After confirming it was fake police moved in.
Police say, at the time Cordova was on-duty and driving a water-utility work truck.
He has bonded out of jail.
Police say his wife could also be charged, for possibly supplying prescription note-pads from the hospital where she used to work.
