Ether man verdict pending in Colorado

ALBUQUERUE (KRQE) - A verdict could come Wednesday in the 'Ether Man' trial in Pueblo, Colorado.

A jury got the attempted murder case against Robert Bruce Tuesday.

In Pueblo, he is accused of trying to blow up a police officer's home because the officer was about to testify against Bruce in a peeping tom case.

Investigators believe Bruce was desperate to avoid conviction because that would force him to give DNA which could tie him to a series of Albuquerque rapes years ago.

After the trial in Colorado, Bruce faces more charges in Texas and then New Mexico.
