DWI lawyer charged with DWI

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A familiar face spent the night behind bars after crashing his car and refusing a Breathalyzer test, according to Albuquerque police.

John Kubiak, a DWI attorney who advertises on television, was arrested Thursday night for aggravated DWI.

Albuquerque police say Kubiak crashed into a light pole near Golf Course Road and Irving Boulevard NW.

Officers say he refused to take a breathalyzer test and was arrested.

His bail was set at $5,200.
