ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police arrested a group of teens who they say were riding inside a car drunk outside university stadium Saturday, in a car that was registered to Lobos coach Mike Locksley.

Cops say Joshua Butts, 19, was the one behind the wheel claiming he was driving "coach's car".

Police say he was highly intoxicated with an alcohol level of about twice the legal limit, nearly struck a pedestrian and didn't even have a driver’s license.

University officials say the car belongs to Locksley’s son and say he allowed Butts to drive the car.

The university says the incident has nothing to do with the coach or the football program.

Three other teens in the car were charged with underage drinking.
