ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police responded to a call of a driver blocking traffic Friday night only to find a man passed out, allegedly drunk, at the wheel.
APD was dispatched to 5th and Mountain Friday night after getting reports that a truck was stopped in a northbound lane, blocking traffic.
When officers approached the truck they found Adan Cano, 42, passed out behind the wheel. Officers say the man smelled strongly of alcohol and found an opened bottle of beer in the car. They also found a case of beer on the floor of the truck.
After blowing twice the legal limit on a breathalyzer Cano, who has been arrested for DWI before, was booked on aggravated DWI.
Cano has already bonded out of jail.
