Drug raids snares 15, city firefighter

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A federal drug bust involving massive amounts of cash and contraband has led to 15 arrests with one of the supects being an Albuquerque firefighter.

The suspects face charges of distributing cocaine, marijuans and meth plus money laundering.

The firefighter has been identified as Steven Chavez.

During the day Thursday federal agents seized bank accounts and raided several properties.

The money and property seized are reported to be worth at least $15 million.
