ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - Alcohol may be a factor in a fatal crash that left two people dead Sunday morning in Roswell.
The victims were a 4-year-old boy and his 30-year-old mother.
It happened around 3 o’clock Sunday morning, when two vehicles crashed at southeast Main and Brasher.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a Cadillac Escalade that flipped, fled the scene.
A 6-year-old girl inside the second vehicle was treated and released.
No word on the whereabouts of the driver of the Escalade.
The investigation continues.
