ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man, who was refused alcohol at a Walgreens in Albuquerque, took out his anger on a fellow customer.

Mack Wells is charged with aggravated battery.

He faced a judge this weekend.

A criminal complaint says Wells was drunk when he walked into this Walgreens on Montgomery in northeast Albuquerque and employees refused to sell him alcohol.

When wells walked out of the store police say he bumped into a man then stabbed him in the stomach.

A judge addressed Wells Saturday in court Saturday.

“The allegations are very serious what I will do is continue the bond at $100,000 cash only,” Judge Daniel Ramczyk said.

Detectives used surveillance video to track down wells.

Police say you can see the handle of a knife sticking out of his pocket in the video.
