Man dead at Mora ranch; SUV missing

MORA, N.M. (KRQE) - New Mexico State Police are investigating what is being called the suspicious death of Roberto Mendez whose body was found at a ranch near Mora on Monday.
Mendez, 59, was last seen alive Saturday evening, according to a statement released by State Police. An SUV Mendez used at the Buena Vista Ranch is reported to be missing, the statement added.
The statement provided no information on the circumstances of Mendez's death or why it is considered suspicious.
The SUV is described as a black 1997 Ford Expedition with a large, front push bumper and bearing New Mexico license plate 223NNB.
