BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) - A man accused of firing several gunshots in Valencia County Friday night, is now in jail.
Around 6:00 p.m. Friday, two men started arguing in Belen. Jason Barrazas, 21, fired a shot, hitting a man in the leg as the victim was driving away.
The violence then moved to Veguita, N.M., where police said Barrazas showed up and started firing at the victim's house.
He eventually left and then returned around 1:00 a.m. Saturday. At that time, he and the victim exchanged gunfire.
State police arrested Barrazas a short time later. Charges are pending.
