LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) - Four Los Lunas residents were indicted Thursday on charges they tortured children in their care.
Anthony Welker, Kimbery Galzcynsky, Gerald Tunnell and Brenda Mundo are accused of duct taping the children to a chair, covering their heads with a towel and using an electric battery to shock them repeatedly.
The children involved are 2, 3 and 6.
Valencia County deputies said Welker is the father of the 3-year-old girl. Galzcynsky is the girl's mother and Welker's girlfriend. Mundo, according to deputies, is the children's grandmother and guardian of one of them, who deputies said who was abused the most. Tunnell is her boyfriend.
The adults are each charged with ten counts of kidnapping and child abuse.
