Private Ice head sentenced to 13 years

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The mastermind behind a high-priced Albuquerque escort service has been sentenced to the maximum punishment under the law.

Bobby McMullin was sentenced Monday to 13 1/2 years in prison on multiple prostitution related charges.

McMullin was found guilty of the crimes in May.

Police arrested him last year after officers raided an escort service called "Private Ice" in Albuquerque's North Valley.

McMullin will go on trial again in December. In that case he faces 139 counts, including racketeering and additional prostitution related charges.
