ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Saturday, escaped murderer Edward Salas was featured on the show America's Most Wanted for the fifth time.
In 2005, Salas shot and killed Carlos Perez, 10, in Clovis. He received a life sentence, but escaped from the Curry County Detention Center months later.
Last August, Salas and seven other inmates busted out of the Curry County Detention Center.
Curry County District Attorney Matthew Chandler said he wants to both catch Salas and a suspect that was never caught by police.
Salas was convicted of Perez's death, but suspect Noe Torres was never caught.
Both have been featured on the show several times, but they still remain at large.
While Salas has been relatively low key, Torres has made several calls to authorities, promising to turn himself in.
District Attorney Chandler said police have received tips as recent as the past two weeks on Salas.
Police said that he could be hiding in Eastern New Mexico, West Texas or Mexico.
