ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A Mora County man has been arrested and jailed for the 22nd time for drunken driving.

State police said Delano Vigil of Guadalupita had a blood alcohol content nearly five times higher than New Mexico's legal limit.

Vigil was arrested Monday near Espanola, N.M. He's been arrested five other times for DWI in New Mexico.

Vigil has at least 16 other DWI arrests in other states.

State police said the 51-year-old man was so drunk; he had to be taken by ambulance to a hospital in Santa Fe.

Historically, Vigil hasn't showed up in court for his past DWI cases. He had three arrest warrants from San Miguel County, Bernalillo County and Sandoval County.

Vigil has been booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center on his latest arrest.
