Boy missing after school found

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An 8-year-old boy who failed to meet his mother after school was located early this evening.

Emanuel Martinez was last seen about 2 p.m. on the west side of Helen Cordero Elementary School at 86th Street and Tower Road SW. Albuquerque Public School officials said the boy normally met his mother after school for the walk home.

However when she arrived at school, he wasn't there.

The boy was found about 6:15 p.m. and was to be reunited with his mother.  Details of where he had been were not immediately available.
