Crime techs search missing woman's car

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Beyond confirming they did not find a body investigators remain mum about what clues they might have discovered Wednesday when they searched the car of a missing Corrales woman.

Forensic investigators from the New Mexico State Police opened the car belonging to Sandra Sanchez.

Sanchez, 43, lived in Corrales but was last seen April 3 at a Walgreens in Los Lunas. Police their have been investigating her ex-boyfriend searching his house and seizing his pickup truck.

On Tuesday Los Lunas officers located Sanchez's car in Albuquerque at the MCM Eleganté Hotel on Menaul Boulevard NE near University Avenue. However they waited for State Police forensic investigators to get into it.

Detectives are working other leads and ask anyone with information to call Los Lunas police at 505-839-3855.
