$50,000 reward in mesa bones case

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Police in Albuquerque have secured $50,000 through the FBI, reward money that might lure someone to come forward to talk about the deaths of 11 people found buried in a mass grave.

Police Chief Ray Schultz said authorities are looking for "that last little bit of information" to wrap up the case.

Investigators have narrowed the list of suspects to five people.

Police spokesman John Walsh on Friday declined to disclose names of suspects or details of how investigators came up with the list but said at least two are in prison and another is dead.

The remains of 10 women and a fetus were discovered in February at a 92-acre construction site on Albuquerque's southwest mesa.
