ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KRQE) - A former Air Force technical sergeant has been convicted of second degree murder in the stabbing death of another airman in Alamogordo, N.M. last year.
Prosecutors say Gerard Parvilus, 35, killed Pierre Smith last February because Smith was having an affair with his wife.
Defense attorneys say Parvilus killed Smith in self defense.
Parvilus, was found guilty Monday and could face more than 63 years in prison.
