LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) - Despite an intense search, police still have not found a Corrales woman who vanished six weeks ago.

A $2,000 reward is now being offered to if information leading to discovery of Sandra Sanchez, 43. Sanchez went missing in Los Lunas on April 3, 2009.

Now some employees with the city of Albuquerque are getting involved in finding her.

Sanchez was last seen on a Los Lunas drug store's surveillance system, leaving the parking lot in her faded dark green Chevy Lumina.

Her brother Dennis Maestes said he is worried sick.

"Sandra we haven't given up on you, we are still looking for you babe." Maestes says.

Dennis works for the Albuquerque's Solid Waste Department.

His supervisor said his workers are more than just colleagues, they
are family. That family dished out about $500 to the reward fund.

"There is a great camaraderie here with solid waste it's always been like that. I have been here 24 years and I know that we have always been able to count on each other whether with donations or just to be there to talk or whatever it is." Supervisor Lee Romero said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Los Lunas Police Department at 839-3855.

Sandra Sanchez is 5-foot-4 and weighs about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing white pants and a black shirt.
