DURANGO, Colo. (KREZ-KRQE) - A Durango police officer is in a lot of trouble after he was arrested for domestic violence on Thursday.
Police said the incident involving Travis Carpenter happened at his home in Bayfield, Colo.
The La Plata County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
Carpenter has been on the Durango Police Force since July 2005.
He's currently on paid administrative leave, pending the investigation.
