Missing man found dead

CLOVIS, N.M. (KBIM-KRQE) - An 87-year-old man who was reported missing last Wednesday was found dead late Sunday night in Clovis.

Ramon Duran, 87, was found dead in an alley near Lasso Street in Curry County around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a Clovis police news release.

There were no apparent signs of foul play at the scene, police said.

Duran was last seen around 6 p.m. last Tuesday, June 30, and was reported missing the next day.

He was known to collect cans in the alleys of West Clovis while pulling a small black cart.
