ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Even though the final escapee from a Las Cruces halfway house is just 5-foot-2, the U.S. Marshals Service said he could be the most dangerous of the seven who escaped Saturday.
David Luis Aguilera, 21, is the only escapee from Saturday's escape who hasn't been recaptured.
Mario Vasquez, 23, was arrested around 2 a.m. Monday, according to the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department. Ricardo Real, 24; Brian Dolan, 32; Colby Edward Steele, 24; Laurence Mose, 35; and Jese Carillo, 20, were arrested Saturday and Sunday.
Few leads have come in regarding Aguilera's whereabouts, and marshals consider him very dangerous.s
Aguilera, "out of the whole group, was the only one that had a conviction of distribution of methamphetamines," said Marshal Gorden Eden. "When you look at the people that are in that business, they're typically a dangerous group."
Eden said the only tips the Marshals Service has received on Aguilera is that he is hiding out with the help of two women.
Aguilera is said to have gang ties to Albuquerque, but it's unclear if he's planning to hide in Albuquerque or closer to Las Cruces.
Anybody with information that could help is asked to call the U.S. Marshals Service in Las Cruces at 575-527-6850.
