ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An e-mail tip led officers to drug-making materials and a cache of weapons in a northeast Albuquerque home Tuesday night, Albuquerque police are reporting.

Police have accused a man living with his mother as being behind the methamphetamine operation.

Police uncovered the meth lab inside the home near Arvada Avenue and Moon Street NE.

The homeowner let police search her house, and inside officers reported they found materials used to make meth.

Officers also found 18 guns and arrested the homeowners' son, Joshua Janpol, 25.

The e-mail tip came from a nearby resident, police said.

Janpol is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

Tips on suspected drug making also can be called in to the Albuquerque Meth Hotline at 764-METH (764-6384).
