ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A motorcyclist who hit a car making a U-turn in front of her is reported to be in critical condition.
Police said Carol Woods, 52, of Los Lunas was not wearing a helmet when she hit the car on Indian school road ne west of Carlisle Boulevard Saturday at about 1 p.m.
Police reported Claudia Burcia Gadeal Alvarado, 28, driving a silver Nissan pulled out of a shopping center parking lot onto westbound Indian school. She then attempted to make a U-turn from the right lane without noticing Woods was about to pass her in the left lane, police said.
Woods was taken to UNM hospital.
At last report no citations had been issued.
