Cops: Man stole paychecks from office

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man took it upon himself to get the paycheck he thought he deserved, according to police.

Investigators said Branden Gradin, 24, broke into a law firm after work on Monday because he had forgotten his iPad. Police said, once inside, Gradin went into the billing office and stole a few extra paychecks.

Gradin managed to cash one of them $932, but he said he gambled the money away at a casino.

He is charged with forgery, fraud and burglary.
