ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man - who thought a new state law made it OK for him to walk into an Espanola Chili's with a gun - was wrong.

Daniel Wolf, 58, faces a felony charge after five state police officers who were also dining at the Chili's noticed Wolf enter the restaurant with a .45-caliber handgun in a shoulder holster and two loaded magazines.

When the officer questioned him, Wolf said he thought the new law allowed guns in restaurants that served alcohol. That new law applies only to places that serve beer and wine, not to restaurants that serve hard liquor, which Chili's does.
