ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Albuquerque police officer accused of texting and flirting with a 17-year-old girl he gave a traffic ticket to, will lose his badge for three months.
Frank Tillman was in front of the LEA Board Tuesday where he accepted his order of suspension.
The board agreed to suspend him for three months.
Text records showed the married cop sent the pregnant teen messages saying she looked good and that “Preggo is hot and a turn-on.”
Former Police Chief Ernest Armijo was also at the LEA Board meeting Tuesday, where he turned over his license.
Last year KRQE News 13’s Larry Barker exposed the Vaughan police chief who wasn’t even allowed to be a cop. Armijo was a convicted felon in Texas, which disqualifies him from wearing a badge in New Mexico, which is why he carried a fake gun.
Carlos Salazer was also before the board Tuesday, where he defended his badge.
