ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A father and son were both arrested Wednesday for allegedly trying to break into an Albuquerque home to support their drug habits.

A neighbor reported seeing a man identified as Michael Sedillo, 24, trying to get into the home in the 6200 block of Edith Boulevard NE.

Bernalillo County deputies said Sedillo's father, Martin Castillo, 44, was acting as a lookout and threatened a witness with a golf club.

Both have been charged with attempted burglary and other charges.

According to deputies Sedillo admitted that he was going to break into the house to steal power tools so he could buy drugs for him and his dad.
