ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A convicted sex offender who held an Eldorado High School girl against her will and threatened her with a gun has been found guilty.
The federal trial for Christian Sangiovanni wrapped up Wednesday.
In 2010, the student claimed Sangiovanni became obsessed with her and had gained access to some sexually explicit pictures of her.
The girl claims he caught up with her at a convenience store and threatened to kill her then himself.
He was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
He faces 10 years in prison.
