ALBUQUERQUE (kRQE) - The legislature has selected a company to do an independent review of the New Mexico Finance Authority after a faked audit.

Former controller Greg Campbell and COO John Duff were arrested earlier this month on charges the two conspired to misreport reduced revenue to make the NMFA appear more attractive to investors.

Financial consultant Hewitt Ennis-Knupp will be paid up to $110,000 and should have a report by November.
