ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A Colorado man is facing murder charges here in Albuquerque, but because the criminal case is sealed there’s a lot of mystery surrounding the case.
Judge Daniel Ramczyk read the complaint in court Saturday but did not reveal any details.
What is known is that 52-year-old Lawrence Scherer was arrested recently in Denver and then brought to Albuquerque.
Court records only say that the charges are connected to an incident on August 22nd.
Judge Ramczyk resealed the criminal complaint saying eh considered the allegations against Scherer, “extremely dangerous.”
Bond was set at $1 million cash-only.
