City park becomes homicide crime scene

Victim's name, cause of death not yet known

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police responding to an anonymous tip found a man dead in a neighborhood park Tuesday afternoon.

The man, who has yet to be identified, was at the back of the park off the 4200 block of Tulane Avenue NE near Montgomery and Carlisle. The call came in shortly after 1 p.m.

Police told reporters there were no obvious signs of trauma on the man's body although other evidence pointed to homicide. They declined to say what that evidence was.
