SANTA FE (KRQE) - A Santa Fe man is charged with DWI and child abuse after police alleged he blew three times the legal limit.
Police say Shaylor Alley, 37, was swerving in and out of his lane Saturday.
The officer who pulled him over reported it was obvious Alley had been drinking and that he had a 13-year-old passenger.
When he couldn't complete a field sobriety test, police gave him a breath test where he blew three times the legal limit for presumed intoxication.
Alley was arrested and booked on charges of aggravated DWI and child abuse.
It is not known what the relationship between Alley and the boy is.
He has since been released from jail under a $5,000 bond.
