ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Prosecutors have dismissed a felony embezzlement charge filed against the former parks director of Bloomfield, New Mexico.

Bob Carman had been accused of taking sheets of metal belonging to the northwestern New Mexico town.

He allegedly had a city employee use the metal, worth about $500 a sheet, to repair his horse trailer.

Prosecutors cited not enough evidence to prove the case.

Carman was fired from his city position last year.
