ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man and a woman were injured and trapped in their overturned car Friday night after the jumped a curb and plunged into a home in northeast Albuquerque.
Firefighters called in extra personnel and had to shore up the home in the 1800 block of Arizona Street NE before they could rescue the couple, the Albuquerque Fire Department reported.
No one in the home was injured, but the woman in the car suffered a broken leg, according to police.
Officers suspect the man who was driving the BMW sedan had been drinking. He was last reported to be in serious condition at UNM Hospital.
