Burglary suspect sought as fugitive

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A burglary suspect has been named the Fugitive of the Week by Albuquerque Metropolitan Crimes Stoppers .

Anyone with information leading to the arrest of Eric Chavez, 45, could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Callers do not have to give their names to qualify for the reward.

Chavez is wanted on felony warrants alleging burglary and auto burglary plus a misdemeanor warrant for not having proof of insurance during a traffic stop.

He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds hazel eyes and brown hair. His tattoos include roses on his right arm, a heart on his left arm, two women on his chest and an unspecified image on his cheek, according to Crime Stoppers.
