ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An accused bank robber who took an Albuquerque family hostage has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
In August James McDaniel allegedly attacked a mother inside her home and ordered her to rob the bank where she works with the kids in tow.
Clerks called police, and officers arrived in time to rescue the kids.
Police later found out McDaniel was the woman's boyfriend.
She claims she didn't know it was him because he was wearing a mask.
McDaniel is facing charges of bank robbery and extortion.
