ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - McKinley Middle School was temporarily evacuated after a student told staff he had a bomb in his backpack.
Albuquerque police say the student had an argument with a classmate and in frustration said he was going to blow the school up. Consequently authorities evacuated the school and APD officers were called in to conduct a sweep of the school.
Officers determined the backpack contained no harmful materials and students were allowed to return to their class.
