ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Jaime Guerrero appeared in court Saturday charged with forgery and conspiracy for allegedly passing fake $20 bills.

Police say earlier this month, Guerrero, 51, had given three different businesses forged $20 bills.

At one of those stores, the Walmart on Sage Road SW, management noticed the bill was a fake.

They tried to hold him there, but Guerrero ran off.

Police say Guerrero also used the fake money at a nearby pizza place and bought pizza to go, of course.

He was arrested Thursday and is now in jail on a $25,000 bond.
