The blood test results are back in the case of high-profile attorney Ron Bell, but it's still unclear if he will face a DWI charge.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department released the results Saturday, showing that Bell had amphetamine in his system. The amphetamine is the kind found in Benzedrine and Dexedrine.

Bell was arrested in June after a deputy spotted him swerving on Tramway Blvd.

A breath alcohol test showed no signs of booze, but Bell reportedly didn't do well on field sobriety tests. Prescription medication was found inside his vehicle.

He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs, but the charge was dropped pending the results of a blood test.

Bell said Saturday the amount of amphetamine found in his blood was very small.

"0.20 milligrams is less than one dose of one medication in either pill bottle—which shows that I wasn't taking the pill that day," Bell said.

Bell said he bought a 3D television the day he was arrested and that the special glasses may have affected his vision.

Sheriff's officials said investigators are working to interpret the results to see if the amount of amphetamine is enough to charge Bell again.
