AMARILLO, Texas (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man who works for the federal Bureau of Land Management in Amarillo, Texas, could get up to a year in prison after admitting to threatening a co-worker.

On Tuesday Peter Madrid III, 38, pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of threatening a federal employee.

Two BLM employees told the FBI that Madrid spoke of killing them and other BLM employees in June and July of this year.

One worker said Madrid accused the other worker of stalking and following him.
